I've had my Axim for about three weeks now and I've already got lots of information on there that I wouldn't won't to lose, particularly financial info entered into Cash Organizer 2000 and Excel spreadsheets.

How often should back up the PDA?
What are recommended methods - backing up to a laptop/desktop or to a memory card?

Also, while I'm posting, and just to prove what a newbie I truly am, what should the memory cards be used for, generally? For backing up, for adding space for more programs to exist, to hold ebooks?
