Everyone's favorite built in wifi program has just released an update. Funk Software announced an upgrade to
Odyssey Client 4.0.
Odyssey Client [now] supports Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 (WPA2), the encryption protocol based on the 802.11i standard (ratified by the IEEE in June 2004) and the encryption algorithm AES. The strong encryption it provides fully protects data against attack as it is transmitted over the wireless link.
Of course, some of us look to this client as more a "space-cleaning" tool. But I know there are some of you that actually use it! I tried - honestly - but the 2 MB of space was more valuable. Sorry, Funk :(
