Well, no matter what, Dell HAS TO HONOR AND SUPPORT the any Axim as long as it's still under warranty. So even if you just purchased an X30 or 50 with an extended 3 year warranty, for 3 years, Dell has to take care of you long after they stop making both the X30 and X50 series. :D

I have copies of A00, A02, and A05, in a folder on my PC so they must have offered at least 2 updates since I purchased my unit.
Windows 2005 would not be an update it would be a OS upgrade.
Not sure they will offer it or at least for free.
