Well, I've made some progress here, but I still need some help.
I downloaded the demo of MemMaid and moved the PIE cache to my SD card. This allowed me to delete the biggest pig file:
\Windows\Profiles\Guest\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\index.dat
Which was hogging 896KBs of storage memory.
Interestingly enough that same file on the SD card is now only 16.6KB. The problem is MemMaid doesn't move the PIE history, which still has this piggy file in it:
\Windows\Profiles\Guest\History\History.IE5\index. dat
This file is chewing up 650KB of space. Just to be clear:
1. I realize I can't just delete this file.
2. All I want to do is reclaim some of the space this file is taking up.
3. Deleting history in PIE has no effect - I've done it about 100 times...I've also done a soft reset and then tried clearing it in PIE and this doesn't work either.
4. MemMaid is unable to clear this file also.
Is there a way to move PIE history to the SD card like I did for the Temporary Internet Files? This would allow me to whack this file after I point PIE to the SD card.
