The curious part is that using the "Browse CF Card" button, it says No images found. I don't know if this is a file extension issue, or a folder-too-far thing.

Somebody had helped me with this issue last week or so, here's what I remember I did:
Go into
Settings on the resco program, change the folder there to \cf card (you might have to add in your Nikon sub-settings, but I have the same issue with my Kyocera photos going deep into subfolders and I didn't have to do anything but point to the CF Card in this program).
I think that's all I had to do to get it to recognize it every time. There's a general help screen in there that can help you further with that.
