Sorry, I don’t have the Netgear card but maybe I can point you to some possible solutions. First, as Therigwin suggests, change all your connection settings (Settings, Connection tab, Connections) to Work settings, Work settings, Work.
I assume your router is using DHCP for assigning IPs. If so, check your network adapter setting (Settings, Connection tab, Network Adapters, select your Netgear and tap on properties) and make sure the top box is checked. If your router is not set for DHCP, check the second box and set the IP numbers. In either case, you can enter DNS IP numbers under the Name Servers if your ISP has provided them.
Is your router set for WEP encryption, and/or MAC filtering? If the first is true, you’ll need to set the same encryption code on the Netgear drivers on the Axim. You also should enter the SSID (your network name) on these drivers. If the MAC filtering is enabled, you’ll need to get into the Router’s settings and enter the MAC address for your Netgear card.
I hope this is of some help.
[Note, for the best security, you should actually be using WEP encryption and MAC filtering if you are not already but let’s getting you working first then you can read through the first thread on this forum for those details.]
