try taking off the WEP settings on your router.
I have had little success with WEP and the netgear card at home, with no settings for WEP(disabled) I know its not secure... works fine at works with cisco AP and wep no go even with a hardcoded IP address at work, it sees the AP but can't or won't pick up an IP address.
