I also have the Netgear 701 card, MS wireless router and cable. I have never been able to get it to work with WEP enabled. With WEP disabled, I can connect OK (although I have to do so using a sniffer program (WINC) for reasons I have never been able to figure out. There are a couple of other programs -- VXutil and vxipconfig -- both free --that I remember were helpful in dealing with connection issues initially. You can propbably get a hold of them by doping a search in the forums.
