Okay, let me first get down from the total elation I'm feeling 'cause it's working. Whew... okay now I finally got it to work with Work under all 3 settings and with WEP diasabled. That being said I live in a neighborhood surrounded by by either 80 year olds or people as poor as me (but who spend their money on more typical necessities{broadband is more important to me than TV}) so I'm seriously doubting there is another broadband user within half a mile, and even if there is one or two the likelyhood that they'd have wireless as well is mind-boggling. With all that, is it still 100% necessary for me to have WEP and MAC filtering? I'm not saying I've given up on trying to get it to work, I'm just wondering if I can continue to use my Axim wirelessly until I finally figure out the magic setup.
