Remove a Today Plugin from the Today page:
Start -> Settings -> Today -> Items -> Uncheck the item you don't want.

Remove an icon from the start menu:
Open Explorer
Go to folder "Windows \ StartMenu \ Program"
Find the icon you want to remove
Tap and hold
Delete


I don't know exactly which task you want to do, so I put both :approve:
