Okay, starting from scratch (did a hard reset just to be sure... it was a brand new Axim so very little info anyhow)...
On the PC: Broadband Network Utility-Tools-Base Station Management Tools-Wireless: Make sure wireless access is enabled, changed channel to 11 since that is the default on my Netgear card.
Then under Security, then Wireless Security: I used 64 bit encryption then made up my own 10 digit key.
Then under Security, then MAC filtering: Check the box for enable association and allow, then manual enter the 12 digit MAC Address found on the back of your Netgear card and be sure to click the 'allow association'.
On the Axim: Settings-Connections: Set all three to Work.
Settings-Network Adapters-Netgear-Properties: Use server assigned IP address.
Programs-MA701-Configuration: Mode set to Infrastructure, SSID matched to my network.
Programs-MA701-Security: Set encryption to same bit as you set on your Base Station. Then manual Entry the 10 digit Key you chose above. Not wanting to beat around the bush, I entered the code into all four, but I believe you can get away with just Key 1.
I'm pretty sure that was everything. I hope I was a help to you and others like so many have been a help to me. This is the goal of these forums right? The passing on of knowledge from one to another is a wonderful thing...
