A little research on the Adobe site revealed that the pocket pc version of reader does not have Digital Rights Management and will not open files that require it. Non DRM PDF's open fine.

Huh? You can activate the PPC version for use with protected ebooks, etc.

Where on the Adobe site did you find info saying the PPC version doesn't support DRM?
