Microsoft Student 2006 is an assorted package of resources for students enrolled in middle-school through the beginning years of college. Some of these resources include: a world atlas for geography; a graphing calculator and chart maker for math and sciences; book summaries, a dictionary, thesaurus and Translation Tools for literature.

Student 2006 also includes the full Encarta Premium 2006 release and Web companion to scour encyclopedia content from Internet.

Interested students can apply to the beta test by completing a nomination survey at Beta Place using the Guest ID: StudentBeta06.

Note: Testers will be admitted into the program based upon survey results.

No word yet on what the final product will sell for.
