Well, I guess it just depends on what you like. You are still going to be held back by the original bitrate. For instance, I have episodes of Family Guy that are original 640x480 and the Bitrate is 903, while the audio is 132kbps VBR. (I saw this using Pocket DivX Encoder and looking at the properties of the file) The 640x480 resolution is good because it's really no change from computer to PPC. ANYWAYS, the original bitrate is 903, I saw no need to go higher, so I put the bitrate at 906, 640x480 resolution, 192kbps Stereo audio and the file size is 178MB total. It looks pretty flawless, the picture is waaayyy better than 320x240. Honestly, it's like comparing TV with Satellite. It's a whole lot clearer, I'm glad got an Axim x50v.
Edit: Oh yeah, 178MB is really big for a 22 minute and 23 second video.
