I'll put my Axim in the cradle, sync it up, then turn it off using the power button on top. In the middle of the night, it'll turn on, sync up and stay on. Regardless of the fact that it's in the cradle, it'll kill the battery within a few hours. Luckily, I've caught it before the memory was lost each time... but one day, it's gonna happen. In the meantime, I've been backing it up.
Anyways, I've looked through all the settings and can't seem to find what's causing it to do that. I do leave Outlook open, but I have ActiveSync set to update manually. Is there some other option I'm missing??

PPC's turn themselves on each night (has something to do with the alarms, etc.). Since it is doing this on the cradle, it will automatically sync and then stay on as the default is to maintain its connection. You set an option in the ActiveSync settings that will cause your PPC to disconnect once it has finished syncing. Once it is disconnected, it should power down.
