The X5 shipped with 2 CDs, one being an applications disk that contained some demos and freebies. It's unfortunate that you didn't get the apps disk because of (2) excellent full version programs, one being the OEM Resco Picture Viewer I mentioned and the other is a powerpoint application called IA Presenter.
It's true that Activesync (and the USB driver) were the only requirements but these perks were a nice addition

my AXIM did not come with the installation CD. was this supposed to be on there? cause i was told that the only thing i needed is MS ActiveSync.
