As I was saying, those X5 customers could be understood if they were unhappy with no upgrade to WM 2003 SE, because they had been offered one before. No other model has had such an upgrade and probably never will unless there is a serious problem with the hardware/os that "requires" it.

You are getting off track from the original point. Originally, someone above said maybe the X50 series will get the WM2005 upgrade. My response to that post was that it was doubtful that it would happen because of the fact that we were screwed over last year when WM 2003SE came out. The Ipaq has been around for several years and I believe they were provided upgrades from 2000 to 2002 and then from 2002 to 2003. Dell continued the tradition providing the OS upgrade from 2002 to 2003 as well. Asus and Toshiba announced last year that they would provide upgrades to 2003SE but I do not know if they ever followed through. I do know that Fujitsu Siemens recently made a 2003SE upgrade available. Clearly, there was (and still is with Fujitsu) an established practice in the pocket pc industry of providing OS upgrades. Until Dell and HP announce their intentions with WM2005, we are spinning our wheels and waisting our time.
