Thanks for all the replies. Looks like the display is suppose to be this way. I did however call Dell on this and of course they knew nothing as far as if it's suppose to be this way, so there are sending me a replacement, but I think I'll keep my current unit as it is working fine and return the replacement. Great Picture of shadows.
