I've owned my Axim X5 400 mhz system for only a few weeks now. But I'm having difficulty understanding why it comes on in the middle of the night, and won't go off; it goes into a suspend (darkened screen) mode only, but won't turn itself off after the allotted 1 minute, or whatever time schedule I have it on. Subsequently, it drains the battery. I've read through others' concerns mentioned on this site, and have disabled reminders and notifications. I've even checked my ActiveSync schedule, to make sure it is completely unchecked. And they are. So does anyone have any idea as to why my Axim comes on, and won't go off? I've done the soft reset and the hard reset. But this is a refurbished unit, and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. I was really looking forward to using my PDA the way it was intended, including taking advantage of reminders, alarms, and notifications; it just doesn't make sense why the unit won't turn itself off completely.
