You
can override the Regional Date Settings by editing the registry.
The key is
\HKLM\nls\overrides\SLDte. Edit the string value to have the long date displayed as you like. For example to show the date as
2005 Tuesday, May 10, you would enter
yyyy dddd, MMMM dd.
You must soft-reset to have the changes take effect!
