did you try to change the language when you updated the ROM?
If so, you are the proud owner of a new paperweight... I did this 1 month ago, and still haven't found a solution...
The problem is, this device is like a slave to micro$oft: if ActiveSync doesn't start on the PPC, there is apparently nothing Dell can do, even at the factory (this I can't believe...) Let's say, there's nothing they
want to do.
