Sandisk Extreme III Compactflash

First a warning, i bought Sandisk Extreme III 4 gb card. But surprise, inside it was actually 2gb card. The seller changed it promptly, but we found out that the whole batch was wrong size, so watch out if you purchase the 4 gb version. There may be more of them moving around.

So now i have the 2 gb version and i made some speed test with my laptop. It gave results, when i copied 642 mb .iso file.
sandisk extreme III cf: 93s = 6,9 mb/s :approve:
pretec trancend 60x sd: 167s =3,8 mb/s
disk-to-disk: 62s = 10,3 mb/s

The last result is from copying the file from laptop's hard disk back to same disk, just to get some idea of the hard disk speed. I used Vantec 7in1 USB 2.0 card reader and Dell Latitude D800 laptop. Sandisk advertises this as 20 mb/s write speed card, but that's a laboratory result. I think almost 7 mb/s as a practical result is still excellent.
