Hi Jeff,

Looks like it hasn't been updated in a while but every game that I've tried based on PocketFrog seems pretty speedy:

The forum link on the above page links over to a pocketmatrix.com forum. The pocketmatrix forums have a great developer forum with many subforums (including obviously for PocketFrog/PocketHAL).
