If you have memmaid go into the third tab and check the start up programs. If you can identify an entry for PocketCandy remove it, perform a soft reset and try to remove it with the remove programs dialog again. You could also check the sixth tab (running processes) and kill any processes associated with PocketCandy before trying to remove the program. You could also use other programs for this.
