As far as I can tell, for Axim purposes a regular SD/CF card is fine. Buying a fast SD/CF card makes sense only for cameras or if you are going to use a card reader to read/write data to the SD/CF card. Axim does not read/write data at a speed more than what is provided by the basic SD/CF card.

By the way, where did you find this deal of SanDisk 1GB SD at Office Depot? On their website the only SanDisk 1GB product I can find is a SanDisk 1GB CF card for $78 and no rebates.
