There are a few things you can do to have better fps/video.
1.Make sure you encoded the video down to size you can't have a 480x600 or something like that playing on an axim it can't haddle that. the axim's screen is like 240x320... and even then you must dropp the frame rate to about 15 to get it to play.
2.Make sure that you have enough program memory.... You can do this by getting to the memory page on the axim. Move the slider to the left for more program memory and right for more storage. Just make sure you dont put it TOO far to etheir side or it will automatically go back to its default spot.
3.Make sure no programs are running in the background.
