well, there are such things as free ware sites. you could try looking at sites like

or
http://www.freewareppc.com/
but i don't know of any actual free games, or games you can download and buy that are racing games (not a racing fan). but there is also
http://www.handango.com//home.jsp?siteId=1 which has a ton of games that are free/pay and i'm sure they will have a link for something
