What has recently been referred to as "Pocket Tanks" was, in a former life, called "Scorched Earth". To some of us oldies, it was fondly remembered as "Scorch!"

We kept a Windows 3.1 machine around for a long time for basic use, and Scorch was usually running. We finally put the old puter in storage a few years back. When we went looking for the game online again about a year ago, what we found was "Pocket Tanks."

I would love to see it on my Axim someday. A heartwarming blast from the past.
