Wasn't sure where to place this since so many talk about the OS upgrade, but I asked my rep at Dell and after he forwarded it, this is the answer I received.
Thought it may be interesting to some of you other Axim-junkies.

It says that Dell is going to offer it's customer's an upgrade to the new OS. Just wondering if you heard about it, when it may be available, and cost. Can I even buy it now?
DELL ANSWER:
Yes. We are launching the Axim X51 in the fall which will have the new MS OS. It will also be available for a purchase upgrade on the X50 at the same time, for users who have recently purchased and want the new OS. (It will not be available as a purchase upgrade on the X30).
