Has anybody tried charging the X50v and BT-338 GPS receiver together in the car, using the Y-cable that is provided in the OCN4+BT-338 package from www.buygpsnow.com?

Is there any restriction like X50v will charge only if it is off?

Or that the remaining battery power in the X50v should be above a certain percentage for it to charge?
