I found a 256MB Lexar card to replace it. The package said that it was made in Japan. The card said it was made it Taiwan, AR0301LR, and it was slower and crashed sooner than the SanDisk labeled SD card!

That's the first problem I've ever heard of with a Lexar card.

I have heard it said that the death penalty is not enough of a deterrent.
I think that's because it takes too long to be carried out.
