My daughter got an X5 2 years ago and probably used it 6 hours and put it in a drawer. I asked her about it and said she would bring it to me to play with. She got it out and it would not turn on. She could not find the power cord but did manage to find a Nokia AC changer and, much to my dismay, tried to charge it. Arrrg!

Anyway it didn't work when she brought it. I was almost a cruel and bought an adjustable universal charger and match the voltage as best I could. Still no luck.

Should I waste any more time on this baby? I've got a whopping $8 invested and wonder if should walk away? :-)

Seriously, and ideas that a true dell power cord will fix it or did the Nokia charger cook this baby?
