well 1 and 2 yes I can get a legal copy. I am a software engineer with wells fargo and we have a corp msdn acct. which gives me all microsoft software available. They are publishing wm 5.0 on there next month.

The warrenty is one thing I was worried about, but after reading the warrenty paper work it didn't say anything about updating the os. I also have a legal copy of wm 2003 se to reinstall if I must.

I have the ability to do so, just learning now about this platform. I just wasnt sure of the ability to do so, since all my development experience is limited to legacy hardware.

But judging by your post there shouldn't be any major hardware issues correct?
