I presently do not own an x50v, but I am planning on purchasing within the next couple weeks. Having had this site, and this particular thread given to me as reommended reading, considering my situation, I have a couple statements/questions.
1st, my major "business" use is as a receiver for a BT GPS. I presently use an iPaq 2215 with 2gb CF and 1gb SD. I have a hard mounted charging cable on my motorcycle and an Arkon powered cradle in my car. I can purchase a new adapter for the Arkon cradle that they "say" will work. I need to have the Axim on and powered for long duration use. I don't care if it charges or not, but I certainly don't want it discharging during use. Does anyone have any experience with the Arkon powered mount and the x50v? I assume for the motorcycle, if I purchase the Dell USB charge/synch cable, and hardwire that to the 12V DC system, that will work without problem.
Any comments/help would be appreciated.
