Exactly, its legal for me to own my S&W 9mm but I can't shoot at strangers on the street from my house; and if I do no one can sue S&W for the damages.

Well Apple has initiated the iTunes program which gives you a song for a dollar, this is a good step if you ask me, but... I think its still too expensive, yeah you get all the songs you want and not the ones you dont but most regular CDs cost 15 bucks and have about 15 songs so it evens out.

I think most file sharing people wont go for this. I think that if it was 50 or 25 cents a song, hell most people woudln't fuss with the worry with Kazaa and the like and just buy the songs they wanted. MS is going to be coming out with a competior to iTunes soon, so I guess well just have to wait and see what happens.
