I've been using iTunes downloading music for the past week. Personally I'm happy with the service, but I agree with NMkiD that most of the songs are too expensive. I don't have a problem paying $1 for most songs, but some older titles should be less....

NMkiD hit it right on the head, " think that if it was 50 or 25 cents a song, hell most people woudln't fuss with the worry with Kazaa and the like and just buy the songs they wanted". With Apple, MS and Real finally getting this stuff, I think we may see the cost go down. I'm happy with the service so far, but I'd like to see some song costs go down.

I think it would be a pain to try and figure out different costs per album (ie the "popular" songs cost more that the others), but a song by Jefferson Starship should cost less than a song by the Foo Fighters.
