There is software that will do this but the IR range on the Axim is very limited. If you want to try, search for RemoteDSP.exe (I don't remember where I downloaded it from so maybe someone else can help).

There is also a CF card IR transmitter. You can read about it on this thread and also get a bit of a 'neticate' lesson on how to treat others at the end of the thread.

Edit: oops, sorry, RemoteDSP is not for the IR. I'll see if I can find the right name. Duh, it's called TVremote

Do a search and you should find links to it.
