I just bought an X50v this yesterday and checked up on my order status today. After seeing that my order was confirmed I noticed one of the lines under my "Order Details" said this:

This is my first post - sorry it is a negative one BUT...
I just received email confirmation from Dell that
new US Axim purchasers WILL get a
FREE upgrade - but
us in the UK will have to pay.
I bought my Axim only last week, direct from Dell. Had I been based in the USA - my upgrade would have been free.
Thanks Dell - you sure know how to make a new customer feel valued. I guess the fact I used to live in New York doesnt get me a discount either - LOL!
BTW - Great site and thanks to all you posters for somke really valuable information.
