Hmm? I'm not able to replicate your problem here. Normally when the device is powering back on the screen will flash white for a moment then the the display comes up. You device appears to be locking up during that process.

The 96 DPI Resource Pack "shouldn't" be causing any problems. There's nothing executable in that software. It's just a bunch of resources (images, dialogs, etc.) rendered for 96 DPI rather than the default 192 DPI.

My best guess would be that there is a conflict with some third party software. When looking for a conflict I would recommend the following:

1) Make a complete backup.
2) Perform a hard reset.
3) Install and test NVD on the pristine device. If all goes well proceed to the next step.
4) Install suspect third party applications one at a time and test with NVD.
5) When testing is complete, restore the device from the backup made in Step 1.

Please let us know if you find a conflict...or not.
