the e740 and the axim have pretty much the same configuration (processor, memory, etc) BUT the e740 was optimized (both software and hardware) for the increased bus size of the pxa255 processor, while the axim only supports a bus speed of 100mhz (only half of the e740) And this cannot be changed because the axims bus problems lie in the hardware
