What was the origional resolution of the Family Guy episode?

Your post reads as if you reduced them FROM a resolution greater than 640x480. I am just curious as to the origional resolution since it is a waste of bits to encode at a higher resolution than the source material.

Also. What media ( Compact Flash, Secure Digital? ) are the episodes on?

Are you using ActiveSync to transfer them to your PDA?

If the above questions are YES, then this might be your problem.

Using ActiveSync to transfer DivX avi's to your PDA to a flash card COULD corrupt the video. I encode all my DVD's to either 720 x ??? or 640 x ??? ( before cropping ) on my PC. I cannot use ActiveSync to transfer them since they don't play correctly. I have to use my PC and flash card reader to transfer them to the flash card.

My DivX videos are in excess of 700 MB a piece, so I cannot test just a direct transfer to the PDA's main memory.

If you don't have flash media, then I would suggest getting a two gigger and a flash reader for your PC as you will need it for video. :)
