Thanks again Gigi but I am still stumped. From 'my computer' to 'mobile device' to 'my pocket pc' to a word file I can neither drag and drop nor open the file or any other text file like notes. I get only the 'properties' page. What do you make of that? Thank you, thank you. e.w.jili
