Car Sound Input Question
I just got my GPS receiver for my Axim x50V. It does voice directions, which I am really excited about, but I also really love listening to mp3's in the car with my iPod. My head unit in my car has an 1/8" input jack, which is how I listen to my mp3's. I fear that the sound from that will overpower the sound of the voice directions from my x50v. So my question is, can I connect a splitter to the input jack on my head unit, and plug one connection to the iPod and the other to my x50v? Will it automatically superimpose the voice directions over my music? Any input from audiophiles out there would be really helpful. I am clueless when it comes to inputs/outputs.

Thanks,
