I'm sure you'll be fine with either. Amazon lists the GBU311 as a Class 2 dongle which would be a big difference in range with other longer range BT gear. However, Iogear's site says Class 1 like the cNet so I'm not sure. The cNet is a USB 2.0 device whereas the IOgear is 1.1. Also it looks like the drivers that come with the cNet support some additional profiles that aren't listed with the IOgear. (I didn't see the high quality audio stuff for things like BT headphones, or the reverse for feeding audio into the PC from a remote device) Personally I'd go for the cNet considering it's cheaper and has these additional specs. I've never had any trouble with it personally, and it's very small with a nifty blue LED when in use
