Errmmm, if this were true, then a Z80 and a Pentium4 running both at 100MHz (if a Z80 could ever be clocked that high :D) would have the same processing power (i.e MIPS, or FLOPS, or whatever measuring unit you prefer).

Not only that, but as any of you -should- know, the CPU plays all the roles only in the PCs. In other computers and consoles, there are a number of supporting processors (graphics, sound, I/O etc), which are very hard and time-consuming to emulate ;)
