There could be a problem with your device somewhere. The CF would never do that. We have literally hundreds of X30 users that never had that happen. May be worth contacting Microsoft and sending them the file you used. Sadly there were 'cracked' versions even before official release which were pointed out to us. When we tried one of those it hard reset our device too ! However if you have a genuine file from our site then contacting Microsoft with your issue may be the best bet.
