And, of course, there is still the issue of third party applications. I'm shocked that, after all this time, there still isn't a decent third-party version of Pocket Word, Excel, etc. The corresponding applications on the Palm are a lot stronger.
The Treo 650 is a hot seller for a number of reasons. May Treo users would have little interest in a Windows Mobile OS.

No argument here, there are definately people who would prefer Palm OS over WM, but I am not one of them. There are
many people who would LOVE a WM-based Treo.
A few soft resets a week do not bother me in the least. WM's features outweigh it's user-unfriendlyness :). Although I have not used Palm OS past v4.2 on my ancient Clie...
