Why is that program so huge anyway? 2MB? It doesn't seem to do a heck of a lot, if you count features. Most programs under 300Kb are orders of magnitude more functional.

Rightly or wrongly, I have interpreted this as a sign of poor programming which makes me more than happy to delete it from the system.

I understand that it is needed to connect to certain wireless networks. Dell should have provided a way to install the program, instead of building it right into ROM.
