I overwrote the Odyssey client with a file that had just a space and newline and my "in use" memory for programs went down to 12.09 MB from 12.98 MB.

Not very impressive as far as I can tell.

It seems easier to always install programs into the Built In Storage and use the Memory settings thing to decrease the RAM used for storage. I have mine set at 13.76 MB allocated for storage and 47.99 MB allocated for running programs.

I've only had my Axim for a short while, maybe as time goes by the need for more internal storage will become an issue.
