Have you tried the Westtek ClearVue Suite? I actually preferred it to the Palm apps I used to have. It has a lot of great functionality of the full-version desktop apps, and also supports printing through the HP Mobile Printing driver.

Either way, the point is that most PALM OS units come, out of the box, with office apps that are far superior to the Pocket versions of Word and Excel. For me, that isn't a deal break (obviously, because my primary PDA is a Dell Axim!). I guess my main goal was to rebute the suggestoin that a Windows Treo would necessarily be a much desirable phone than a Palm OS Treo. There are good reasons why some users prefer the Palm OS. And, as a longtime user of both Palm OS and Pocket PC, I'd probably prefer the Palm for smartphone purposes (because it is more stable).
